Registered for 350 guests, Beuvelande is the only campsite in the Channel Islands to have earned an AA five pennant premier park status. This family run park is neat and clean and provides the facilities that you would expect.
However the site itself lacks some of the character of the other sites on the island as it is extremely flat.
Pleasantly situated in the north east corner of the island, on site access is good but the lanes that surround the site are very tight in places.
We suggest that you bring your own car or hire one locally as the nearest bus stop is a good 20 minute walk from the site, across the road from the nearest pub. The bus service while reliable is not that regular so to visit the beach or Jersey's attractions without a car can be time consuming and frustrating.
Also remember that at the more popular beaches on the south coast, such as St. Brelade's Bay, there is a charge for parking.
Guests can bring their own tent, hire a ready erected fully equipped one or bring their caravan or motor home, although not all the pitches have electric hook up.
The ready erected tents are provided and maintained by a travel agency so any disputes as to the standard of accommodation are directed to them.
For more details on the site you will need to telephone or write to the site and ask for a brochure as they have no web site.
